Content: Information on the
purchasing of Euros
Greetings,
Our good friend, Mr. Dick Martin
of Mon Valley Bank in Fairmont, has generously
offered to help us purchase Euros before our trip.
The great advantage to this service is that we will
have currency for the airport in Paris ( where we
will have a stop before we fly to Roma because we
are flying Air France) and for the beginnings of
our Italy adventure. Plus, Mon Valley Bank is not
requiring a service fee for this service. Shirley
Martin, Dick's wife, is one of our travel
participants, and both of them have always been
special friends to Fairmont State University.
Of course you do not have to
participate in this service as we will be able
to purchase Euros along the way in Italy. This is
just a convenient service for us. If you want to
participate in this service, use the following
directions:
1. Send a check made out to Mr.
Dick Martin, Mon Valley Bank, for the amount of
Euros you want to
purchase. Remember there is
a conversion and you will receive less Euros than
American dollars.
2. Attach to the check a note
indicating what denomination (s) of Euros you wish
to purchase, such as
10, 20, 50 or 100 Euro
bills. Remember that the larger denominations will
be more difficult to cash for
small purchases, such as
lunches, etc.
3. Send this information and
check to the following address before May 8, 2007:(Note:
Dick must have your check by May 8 .)
